Happy!

Well. It has been a fantastic week. Im really just happy happy happy. I think this week seemed like it was a year long. But jam packed with awesomeness.

So in reply to the weekly family update:

I have less than two months. Im hyperventilating. Gonna try to push that out of my mind.

Mom, I havent had any stomach issues. Ive been doing really good health wise, lets pray that continues because it seems to me like everyones body starts breaking down at the end of the mission and I do not want that to happen to me!

Ill for sure let you all know when I get my package. Hopefully soon! Im really excited haha you guys talked about the april trip (which I am also FREAKING OUT EXCITED to find out about) and when you said you wouldnt be doing much else for christmas I thought that meant you werent gonna send me a package either because mal couldnt get one anyway. So I wasnt expecting one, so then when I heard youd be sending one I got REALLY EXCITED. I love christmas.

Haha its good to hear that Hna Orton came over! I love her. Haha I thought you would like the Coronado mom, I assumed the boys would think it was gross. But I figured they should try the drink I have every time people invite us over for "once" (their substitute for dinner) we always have bread with avocado or completos with ecco (or coronado) or herbal tea yummy stuff. And Manjar is the best. I hope you love it on your icecream. BTW I bought some more food/treats to bring home today so that and the last things we bought for the family we are giving a little christmas to should show up on the card.

Becca tebbs is engaged. BLOWS MY MIND. I still feel like a little kid. I feel like time froze after high school and we are all too young to get married, at least until Im ready to. Wierd wierd wierd. But yay Im so dang excited for her. Haha hopefully she gets married after Feb9th so I can see her at her reception.

Haha last week the kiddos got into the iphones this week and my package candy last week. Sounds like they are being real stinks!

Well, now lets get to how the week went. It was pretty crazy but awesome.

Monday: After writing we had a NDH with Elizabeth QuiƱones (a less active) and her family that arent members. It was really cool because they havent had missionaries visit them since a little bit after her baptism 13ish years ago, so its nice to be able to start out fresh and be able to help them come to the church now as a family! We really felt the spirit and they all said theyd read the book of mormon :)

Tuesday: A crazy emotional day. First we had an awesome zone conference and then me, hna Clawson, and Hna Altamirano hopped into presidents car and he took us to the temple to see cleber get his endowments. He was so happy! I was so happy! I hadnt been to the temple in 8 months! It was so special to enter in the celestial room and see hna altamirano and cleber there. It was sad though because from there president and hna wright had to take hna A straight to the airport so soon after entering the celestial room I had to say goodbye to Hermana Altamirano right there in the celestial room. There were many tears shed and it was a little hard to contain myself. She has been one of my greatest supports and one of my best friends here on the mission its crazy to think that it might be quite some time before I see her again. :(. I hope she moves to Utah or something. Thatd be great. But yeah overall it was a great day.

Wednesday. District class and a million lessons. We taught omar, he is doing great and is ready to be baptized this coming saturday. Im so excited. Please pray for him lots this next week he is gonna need it because the adversary always fights hardest the week before a baptism. Haha afterwards we ate completos with his family. Its like a hot dog with a TON of tomato, avocado, and mayonaise on top. They are delicious but messy and filling. They are so huge that there is just know way to take bite without half of the toppings going up your nose haha. I thought I was good after eating just one but nooooooo... they gave us three. I walked out feeling like I was gonna explode.

Thursday. We had divisions, I went back to the north side of the mish. Back with the cuicos. Goodness am I grateful for my sector. Sotero is my home sweeeeet home. It wsa good though because I was able to work with some hermanas struggling with animos and stuff and I was able to relate to them because Id experienced the same thing in the beginning of my mission so I felt like the Lord was able to work through me to help them.

Friday. Lots of Planning and SERVICE. We visited the family pinchetti (the family we bought food for) It was hard to see them struggling so much and going through such a hard time but it was so nice because later that night we were able to drop off boxes of needed food and we brought an hermano to yell "haaaaallloooooo" (so they wouldnt know it was us by our gringa accents) and we all ran away. As I was running I couldnt help but think of how crazy good every simple act of service feels. There I was running around in a foreign country and sweating bullets in an ugly old skirt and a pony tail. But I couldnt have been happier.

Saturday. We had a new missionary meeting. It was an answer to prayer and EXACTLY what I needed to hear. President really focused on The Lords role and character as our defender and Satans role/character as an accusor. He really helped me to see the mercy that the Lord has for us imperfect people. Even if we mess up he doesnt accuse us, nor listen to satans accusations. He desires to forgive us, clean us, and fill us with confidence.

Sunday. we went to the christmas concert in Pocuro. It was wonderful, even if David archuleta wasnt there this year it was really beautiful and we got to go with Elizabeth QuiƱones and her family!

Well Im outta time but I love you all and will be talking to you soon!

Chaito!
