So it was a good week. Im getting
tan FAST. Haha except only half of my neck is tan because the shoulder
strap of my bag gave me a pretty big tan line.
We
did divisions two times this week. I had a lot of fun going up to La
Reina with hna Mittleman. I love being with newbies and seeing them
start out their little mission adventure. I also got time to catch up
with hna Huber from my MTC district. It feels like just yesterday we
were sharing a room in the hospedaje on temple grounds and now here we
are 14 months later with two changes left till we go home! I cant
believe it. So yeah we invited them to come with us on our hike today
and they came. It was so fun. Im pretty sure Im gonna be reaaaaaaallly
sore though I havent hiked for like sooooo long let alone for 6 hours!
but it was fun stuff.
ALEX. I cannot believe
you are gonna be 16. What the heck happened to the time?!?!?!?! And you
already have a date planned?!? Wow. Crazy.
Haha
I had no idea that they took a video of when me and Nik went and talked
to the PG deca people. Thats cool I guess. Boys, if you have any
questions feel free to ask me or Nik (Im sure he wouldnt mind) I hope
you guys KICK BUTT in your competitions this year. Keep me updated :)
Mom:
my comp goes home in 20 days (holy cow. I just might start
hyperventilating) I dont want her to go home. :( We have too much fun.
Katie:
Im glad Im not in Texas. Too many bugs. We dont have like any bugs
almost (God knows and loves me for sending me here..... anyone that saw
me try to weed the yard growing up would know what Im talking about)
So
everything with Omar is going pretty well. We had an FHE with him and
one of our favorite families in the ward. He is growing and progressing
so well and he is just the sweetest thing. Haha he told us that his
friend Luis (his gym buddy) also happens to be taking the lessons and
will be getting baptised the week after him. We figured out he is Elder
Paxman (our DL) and Elder Lindseys (the elder that you met all of his
family and stuff when we were in the airport) investigator haha so that
was cool because we had no clue that our golden investigators were gym
buddies. So. I reeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyy reeeaaalllllly need lots of
prayers for omar this week. He is so sweet and so shy and unsure of
himself and so I think he is getting a little nervous as his baptism
gets closer (he knows he wants to get baptized but I think he is scared
that when he does he will have to give talks and maybe do scary things
haha so he has talked about putting off his baptism a week or two) we
just want what is best for him so please pray for him to feel the Lords
assurance and know when the Lord wants him to be baptized.
Also
will you pray for Javier? He also had a fecha but he wasnt sure if he
would be ready for it or not so he decided to take this week to read and
ponder and pray to find if and when he should be baptized. So please
pray for him to feel and recognize the spirit!

Oh
yeah. Mom. I have not the slightest clue about signing up for housing.
But will you look into that? I assume Ill be living with mal... and we
wanted to live with Katie Kates. So...... If they still wanted that and
you had to figure something out in January keep that in mind.
Dad
I know I need to send you resume type stuff. Sorry. Havent gotten
around to that. But have you heard anything else about the internship
thing? Is it something I could do while studying? Cuz Ive been praying
about it and Im still not sure yet but I was thinking about maybe spring
semester when I get back. But I still dont know. It would depend on if I
could do it at the same time as the internship and if Id still get my
fall semester scholarships if I did spring and applied for those
scholarships...... so yeah just thoughts that ran through my brain.
Anyway. I have to go. But I love you all!! Have a GREAT WEEK.

On the
bus on the way to our fun pday adventure today (we went on a hike up a
river in the mountains!!!!.... ok at most parts it was more like a
stream) but it was soooooo fun! I havent gone hiking in so long.
This sign says, you will thrown out for drinking alcohol because we should be good examples for our children.
