Still Here!

Wow. so much to reply to this week haha, sorry if my letter is all over the place.

First of all, we had Cambios this week! Or I guess the english word is transfers.  Me and my comp are still here! I´m excited to have another six weeks with hermana Altamirano, she seriously is the greatest.  No one here in pocuro got changed so we will all have been together for 6 months here in pocuro! My comp will have 11 months here in her first sector.  CRAZY.

Second.  Yep mal Idk what it is but I WANT TO GO TO LAKE POWELL SO BAD! That has been my biggest distraction this week.  Its like I´ll be studying and I hear a motor and I just start daydreaming of lake powell..... its awful hahaha.

Also mal.... nice skirt.  Yep I´m not to that point yet.  I´m getting closer.  Like I don´t plan out my outfits too well but yeah.... there are still some things I refuse to wear.... but my style is definitely diminishing hahaha

I really tried my best to just go and serve other people this week.  We had some weird experiences and some not so fun ones but what made me feel the best was that we were able to go over and do service for a few different people this week.  I like teaching lessons and all but I love when we get the opportunity to do other service as well, it really does make you feel better.  The biggest thing that made me super happy this week is seeing the progression of Cleber. Seriously this whole year and a half is worth it 100 percent if just for Cleber.  He blessed the sacrament this week and he got his temple recommend to go and do baptisms! When I´m feeling down all I need is to have a lesson with Cleber to see how much the gospel can change and sustain someones life.  Its wonderful to see his progression.

We had another random person show up to the church on sunday to learn more... one of the great blessings of serving by the temple because people get really curious! Her name is marcela, I hope we can help her to accept the gospel! Normally if you can get someone to church, you can get them to accept baptism and work for it, sure lots fall through, but even having a baptismal date here is suuuper great.  We had one set for the last month that we were really excited for but it fell through.  But the work continues, I´m still here in Pocuro and I love these people, please pray for me and pray for people to progress.  Also if you have any advice on how to get people to make God a priority it would be greatly appreciated!

Question mom and dad, have you been sending me dear elders? Because I haven´t gotten any for like all of January...... Like I haven´t been getting almost any mail and it stinks because I´ll be expecting at least a pile of dear elders from you guys but for the past 3 or 4 weeks NOTHING.  So SEND ME DEAR ELDERS OR SOMETHING PLEASE!!!

Well, I have to go!

Oh one more thing, I had Benjamin Diaz add Alex and Spencer, if they would like to do some service it would be AWESOME if they could skype with him to practice english.  This kid is AMAZING.  He is like my little brother here, he grew up in an abusive home and had some pretty terrible experiences but now he is SO AWESOME he works sooo hard to be able to one day study in the United States (He wants to go to BYU) and he needs some help with English so he can speak well enough to get the scholarships that he needs. I seriously love this family to pieces so it would be AWESOME if you could practice English with him on Skype!

Alright... now I gotta go Chau!

With Love

pictures on a bridge in my sector where all of the lovers put locks with their names on it, me and my comp always pass and say we are gonna take a pic but never did, as we were taking this pic there was a temblor and the whole bridge moved it was freaking scary....

our watermelon adventure... bought two watermelons and a cart to carry them... the cart broke after two minutes and we ended up having to carry the giant cart through santiago.... a bit embarrasing.... but good memories
